Accent Radio Frequency (RF) is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment for body contouring, skin tightening, cellulite reduction and fat removal. The Accent Radio Frequency (RF) system can treat most areas of your body, including your abdomen, thighs, face, neck and arms.
This treatment will help you to reduce unwanted “orange peel” skin whilst providing a marked improvement in skin tone and a decrease in the volume of your figure, helping you to feel tight, trim and toned. One of the major benefits of Accent Radio Frequency (RF) is that your body generates its own collagen during and after the treatment for many months to come. This collagenesis tightens your skin and connective tissue, whilst increasing your micro-circulation and assisting with lymphatic drainage.
Unlike going under the knife or having invasive liposuction procedures, the Accent Radio Frequency (RF) does not involve any post operative pain, downtime from work or wearing uncomfortable compression garments. Some procedures, classed as minimally invasive for cellulite and body contouring include mesotherapy, endermology and carboxytherapy, but in most cases the results are marginal with inconsistent fat contouring and minimal cellulite reduction outcomes, if any at all. This is where Accent Radio Frequency (RF) can help you achieve your goals safely, with minimal downtime.
What is Accent Radio Frequency?
Accent is registered with a CE0473 mark and has been both TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) listed in Australia and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved in America. The Accent device is a state-of-the-art Radio Frequency heating source and is the only system on the market which provides two types of radio frequency technologies – Bipolar and Unipolar frequencies.
This unique dual radio frequency technology provides controlled volumetric tissue heating to two distinct tissue depths. Accent RF treatments can create dramatic change without the need for invasive surgery or even topical anaesthetics. An added benefit is that there is no downtime therapy. Both RF energies are delivered to the tissue with continuous contact cooling which provides additional comfort and epidermal protection.
BIPOLAR & UNIPOLAR Handpieces
The BIPOLAR handpiece is designed to tighten skin and is particularly useful for areas with little underlying fat such as the face. It stimulates collagen contraction and promotes the production of new collagen over several months, giving you firmer, tighter skin.
The UNIPOLAR handpiece is used for areas with more underlying fat and penetrates deeper into the skin reaching adipose (fat) tissue and cellulite. In addition to collagen contraction and new collagen production, the Unipolar handpiece is designed to sufficiently heat the adipose tissue to cause permanent destruction of fat cells in the target area.
Before & After
Frequently Asked Questions
HOW ARE TREATMENTS PERFORMED?
Using a combination of Bipolar and Unipolar radio frequency the area to be treated is heated to a therapeutic temperature range. A number of passes are performed over the area, maintaining an optimum and predetermined temperature range. This process commences the softening of fibrous connective tissue, increasing micro-circulation to the treated area, and the breakdown and removal of unwanted fat from specific areas of the body. Since your body does not create new fat cells, this area is forever free of fat cells.
HOW LONG DOES A TREATMENT TAKE?
Treatments can take from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on the area you wish to have treated. We focus on your problem areas, but time is given to other areas to stimulate circulation and fatty acid elimination. Several variations of the procedure exist and by assessing your health, features and your desired result, your therapist will decide the treatment program that best suits you.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
There is no discomfort though you may experience some localised redness in the treatment area which will diminish rapidly. You can return to work straight after your Accent treatment, with no side effects.
HOW SOON WILL I SEE RESULTS?
In most cases you will see an immediate reduction and tightening of the treated area. You will notice significant changes within four sessions. You will notice an improvement in your skin tone. The appearance of stretch marks and loose skin may also be improved. Many clients report that they are able to loose weight more easily whist having treatments; this is an added benefit of Accent Radio Frequency.
HOW MANY ACCENT TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
One treatment per fortnight is recommended with up to a maximum of 12 sessions. For those on a diet or in the process of losing a significant amount of weight or those with long-term problematic cellulite, one treatment per week is recommended, at a total of 12 treatments, if proper nutrition is maintained.
DO ACCENT FAT AND ANTI-CELLULITE TREATMENTS REPLACE DIET AND EXERCISE?
Accent fat reduction is NOT a substitute for dieting and exercise and is not a weight loss procedure, but rather a way to change what hereditary may have given you in regard to your proportion. It is extremely effective in removing fat and cellulite in areas that just do not respond to traditional weight reduction methods. A good diet and light exercise should always be a part of a healthy lifestyle.
